35 Year Class Reunion July 2011

Reunion Itinerary

Finally, we have a tentative schedule of the planned events of our upcoming reunion.  

On Saturday night, July 2,2011 we will gather to reconnect at the home of Doug Gietzen.  We will enjoy a catered bbq around the Gietzen's firepit.  The dress will be casual and we are hoping that the evening will provide ample time for serious visiting and reminiscing.

Sunday, July 3, we have arranged to have a brunch, most likely at Clear Lake Country Club.  After brunch, those who wish to participate will play golf.  We are thinking that we will try a 9 hole scramble format and created teams.  After the first 9 holes those who wish to play the back 9 will have the opportunity to do so.

Another Meeting

Janie, Janet, Toni, Julie, and Vikki met to discuss the upcoming class reunion.  We each received a class list and went through it  name by name.  We are now hunting down addresses and email addresses.  If you haven't done so, please send an email message to bhs76@hotmail.com so that we have your address and email address.  We are trying to save some money on postage, paper, and copies by handling as much of this as possible online.  

We welcome other classmates at the next meeting which will be March 24, 2011at That One Place in Buhl.  During and after the meetings we enjoy some liquid refreshments, feel free to participate.

General Information

After receiving a number of inquiries regarding this blog, I thought that I would provide reasons for establishing this site.  This was created after determining that we should hold a 35 year reunion.  Obviously, any and all information regarding that event will be posted here.  However, this blog will not just be limited to reunion activity information.  I would like for it to become a source of information relevant to all of our classmates.  If you wish to have anything posted please send anemail to bhs76@hotmail.com, I will post as soon as I am able.

Class Reunion

Mary Jo, Janie, Janet and Vikki met to start planning a class reunion for the summer of 2011.  Tentatively the dates of July 2 and 3 were decided upon.  The activities possibly will include an evening event at a classmate's home on Saturday and a brunch on Sunday.  Other activities were discussed and will be formalized at a later date.  

Vikki is to contact Snyder's Winery to inquire about the possibility of brunch. 

The next planning meeting is Sunday, March 13, 2011 @ That One Place in Buhl.
